Investigation on light sources for Simulators

We started investigating on light sources that is cheap as well as best in terms of spectral distribution.
we found Iwaski Xenon arc Lamp having the spectral density same that of the sun's spectra and the cost almost cheap.
This is just a start of our project Sun Simulators for concentrated solar cells

Solar Cells of Ageing coated material

After illumination of solar cells to sun light or light source for a period of time, coated material which is responsible for photovoltaic effect or transfer of heat energy around focal point is erased or blown off.
We need a simulator to test the ageing coated material of solar cell in a quick period of time, This can be done by artificial sun simulators whose intensity is 20 times that of sun's intensity and spectral distribution with broad wavelength of around 200-900nm.

Sun Simulator for Concentrated Solar Cells

Simulators are necessary for testing solar cells, the present available artificial Sun Simulators have got the drawback of ageing colour coated on them.

Our motto is to create an artificial sun simulator whose spectral density is same as sun but the Intensity 20 times to that of sun

we started our work in getting data related to available simulators............................
